About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales organization, drive revenue growth, and develop strategic business opportunities. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process, building a high-performing sales team, and ensuring the achievement of company sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential customer segments.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to support sustainable business growth.
- Develop pricing, proposal, and commercial strategies to increase competitiveness and profitability.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Establish sales KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Implement coaching and development programs to improve team capabilities.
- Manage sales commission and incentive programs aligned with business objectives.
3. Sales Operations & Forecasting
- Monitor and manage sales activities through CRM systems.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
- Analyze sales performance, conversion rates, and market opportunities to optimize results.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and best practices.
4. Strategic Account Management
- Build strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and high-value deal closures.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Handle escalated client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing to align lead generation and brand positioning strategies.
- Collaborate with Operations, Delivery, and Project teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to senior management regarding business growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial functions with 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience in B2B sales and strategic account management.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
- Strong analytical and business acumen.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Experience in Technology, SaaS, IT Services, or Consulting industries is a plus.
