Core Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budget planning, track actual performance against budgets, and forecast future results.
- Treasury & Cash Management: Manage company cash flow, working capital, and bank relationships.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure strict compliance with tax laws, local regulations (such as the BIR and SEC in the Philippines), and accounting standards.
- Internal Controls: Develop policies to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and minimize financial risks.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train the accounting and finance team to maintain high performance.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- Certification: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) title is highly preferred or often required.
- Experience: 5 to 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experienced working in Health Insurance Company is a plus but not required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of local tax regulations and accounting frameworks (e.g., PFRS/GAAP).
