Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a vital role in driving business growth by generating and qualifying new sales opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting. This position focuses on engaging HR leaders and decisionmakers within target organizations to introduce AI-powered employee and customer feedback solutions.
This role is a pure outbound prospecting position focused on generating qualified meetings with HR leaders and People teams. As a Sales Development Representative, you will proactively engage potential clients through strategic outreach channels, including cold calling, cold emails, LinkedIn messaging, WhatsApp communication, and industry event networking. Your primary objective is to identify and qualify business opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and create meaningful connections that support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams. This position requires strong communication skills, resilience, and a proactive mindset, making it ideal for individuals who excel in relationship-building and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment within the HR Tech industry.
Responsibilities
Conduct outbound prospecting to generate high-quality leads and business opportunities.
Identify, engage, and qualify potential customers within HR and People functions.
Generate and schedule meetings for the Sales and Pre-Sales teams.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
Research target organizations and identify key decision-makers such as CHROs, HR Directors, and HR Leaders.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and industry stakeholders.
Represent the company at HR events, conferences, and industry meetups.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and prospect interactions in CRM systems.
Track performance metrics and consistently meet or exceed lead generation targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, HR technologies, and market developments.
Support marketing initiatives and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in outbound lead generation, sales development, or business development.
Mandatory hands-on experience in cold calling.
Experience working with HR software, HR tech, employee engagement platforms, or HR services.
Proven ability to engage with HR leaders, CHROs, and HR Directors.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Demonstrated ability to generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting.
Strong understanding of B2B and SaaS sales environments.
Ability to meet performance targets and work independently in a results-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in SaaS or HR Tech industries.
Familiarity with employee experience, customer experience, and feedback platforms.
Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM.
Experience using sales engagement tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo.
Exposure to consultative selling methodologies.
