Job Description
Planning, scheduling, and optimizing film programming across cinema locations.
Coordinate with film distributors and internal stakeholders regarding film bookings, release schedules, and programming updates.
Prepare and maintain weekly screening schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Analyze box office performance, audience trends, and market data to recommend programming strategies that maximize revenue and occupancy.
Monitor film performance and provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to management.
Ensure all programming data is accurately maintained within the cinema management system.
Coordinate operational requirements related to film programming, including showtime changes, special screenings, previews, and promotional events.
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Commercial teams to support campaigns, promotions, and strategic initiatives.
Assist in forecasting film performance and preparing programming proposals for upcoming releases.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive activities, and upcoming film releases to support effective programming decisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, distributor agreements, and programming standards.
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Film Studies, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in film programming, cinema operations, distribution, media, entertainment, or a related industry at the same level.
Strong understanding of cinema film programming principles, scheduling, and screen allocation strategies.
Proficient in analyzing ticket sales data, occupancy rates, audience trends, and box office performance to support business decisions.
Knowledge of audience demand forecasting and screen allocation planning to maximize revenue and cinema utilization.
Understanding of film distribution agreements, commercial terms, and revenue-sharing models.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business performance, market trends, and programming data.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with film distributors and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Commercial, and Finance.
