About the role

Damai Putra Group, a leading property developer, is seeking an exceptional Litigation Department Head to join our dynamic team in our Bekasi, West Java office. As the Litigation Department Head, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic litigation efforts of the company, ensuring that we effectively navigate complex legal challenges and uphold our commitment to ethical business practices.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee the litigation team, providing guidance and direction on all legal matters

• Develop and implement comprehensive litigation strategies to protect the company's interests

• Represent the company in court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution processes

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks

• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies

• Provide timely and insightful legal advice to the senior management team

• Continuously stay abreast of changes in the legal landscape and identify opportunities for process improvements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Law

• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, preferably within the property or real estate industry

• Holding an Advocate License is a MUST.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex legal disputes, including negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings

• Proven track record of successfully leading a litigation team and driving strategic initiatives

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels

• Keen analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset

• Thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
