EHS Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the Project EHS Management System,including action tracking and incident reporting processes, in line with companystandards, government regulations and client requirements.

• Ensure all applicable legal and regulatory requirements are identified, communicated and complied with

• Ensure full compliance with internal EHS Management System at all times

• Provide guidance and support to the Project Leader / EHS Leader to achieve project EHS objectives

• Demonstrate strong safety leadership by setting a personal example in all EHS aspects

• Ensure appropriate specialist EHS advice is obtained when required

• Support the implementation and maintenance of formal risk assessment processes (e.g., HIRADC/JSA)

• Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and ensure implementation of appropriate controlmeasures across all activities

• Review contractor documentation, including:

o EHS Plans

o Procedures

o Method Statements

o Risk Assessments (HIRADC/JSA) to ensure compliance with established standard

• Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with approved safety procedures,company requirements, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems

• Support site inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and EHS meetings

• Support the development and delivery of EHS training programs for project personnel

• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and ensure proper closure ofcorrective actions

• Perform assurance and self-verification activities against contract and project

• Monitor and communicate project EHS performance, including statistics and leadingindicators

• Prepare and deliver EHS reports, findings, and incident investigation reports inEnglish

• Interface with client representatives and project stakeholders to ensure effectivecommunication of EHS matters

• Support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / HSE / related field

• Mandatory: AK3 Umum

• 5-10 years experience in EHS, preferably in construction projects

• Strong understanding and proven experience in:

o SMK3

o ISO 45001

o ISO 9001

• Good knowledge of:

o Risk assessment / HIRADC / PHA

o Permit-to-Work systems

o Contractor safety management

• Fluent in English (spoken & written)(reporting & communication with client is required)

• Hands-on site experience and strong coordination skills

• Able to work under pressure in dynamic project environment
