We're growing our engineering team and opening a role:
BACKEND ENGINEER
Full-time | Contract | Remote | Java · Spring Boot · MySQL · REST APIs
You'll design, build, and maintain the backend services, APIs, and data models that power our web and mobile applications. You'll model and optimize databases, integrate with frontend and third-party systems, and ensure performance, reliability, and security. You'll participate in code reviews, support testing and deployment, and collaborate closely with frontend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
- Strong backend fundamentals with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience designing relational databases and writing efficient queries (MySQL)
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON
- Solid software development fundamentals — version control, testing, and CI/CD practices
- Understanding of frontend integration to collaborate effectively with the FE team
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and contribute in code reviews
- Good communication and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with robotics, automation, or AI-driven applications is a plus
