Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and managing the sales team to achieve business objectives, increase market share, and drive revenue growth. The role involves implementing effective sales strategies, coaching team members, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and profitability.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and monitor the performance of Medical Representatives and other sales personnel.
- Set sales targets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure consistent achievement of objectives.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
- Conduct regular field visits, joint calls, and performance coaching with the sales team.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support business growth and product launches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
- Recommend strategies to improve market penetration, customer engagement, and sales productivity.
