Assistant Manager Specialist Printed Circuit Board (Purchasing & Development)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join PT Minda Asean Automotive as an Assistant Manager for PCB/Electronics Part (PCB Specialist). In this full-time position based in Karawang, West Java, you will be responsible for providing strategic, technical and operational leadership to the company's PCB and electronics part operations.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the design, development, testing and manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic components

• Have experience in doing the costing of components, VA/VE activity

• Have experience dealing with many vendors in electronics part (Such as : PCBA, resistor,capacitor)

• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high standards of production

• Analyse technical data and provide recommendations for process improvements

• Have experience in new part development and APQP planning

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering problems

• Supervise and mentor a team of PCB/electronics specialists

• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory and environmental standards

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in an electrical/electronic engineering role, with a focus on PCB and electronics manufacturing

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline

• Strong technical knowledge of PCB design, fabrication and testing processes

• Good knowledge in ISO 9001 and IATF 19649

• Good knowledge in costing

• Vendor management

• Proven experience in leading and motivating high-performing teams

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and levels of the organisation

• Good in English both written and oral
