Head Bar Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Head Bartender, Senior Bartender, or similar leadership role in a bar, restaurant, lounge, or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, coffee, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Proven experience in leading and supervising bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ability to maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and guest service.
- Experienced in inventory management, stock control, ordering, and beverage cost monitoring.
- Knowledge of bar operations, hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to create and develop beverage menus and signature drinks aligned with the brand concept.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Proficient in POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in premium/high-end bars, restaurants, beach clubs, or luxury hospitality venues.
- Bartending, mixology, or beverage-related certifications are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of beverage trends, customer preferences, and upselling techniques.
- Experience in opening new outlets and implementing bar SOPs is highly preferred.
