Key Responsibilities:
Monitor server performance (CPU utilization, memory, disk I/O) and hardware health in real time using monitoring tools or management consoles (such as iLO, iDRAC, IPMI).
Ensure that the physical conditions of the servers in the rack, including ambient temperature and power supply (PSU) status, remain within normal limits to prevent hardware failure.
Handle incidents and service requests through the ticketing system in accordance with priorities and SLA targets.
Perform initial recovery procedures in accordance with established work instructions to minimize service downtime.
Perform basic troubleshooting and initial diagnostics on system failures, such as basic connectivity issues, login failures, or indications of hardware component failure (e.g., predictive disk failure).
Execute standard changes, implementing low-risk changes such as restarting services, basic account configurations, or minor setting adjustments in accordance with relevant team approvals.
Escalate issues quickly and accurately to the L2 team if the problem cannot be resolved or if there are signs of hardware failure.
Update ticketing and logbook; ensure that every activity, corrective action, and incident status is properly recorded and that the Operational Logbook is filled out for handover purposes.
Support preventive maintenance activities.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma/Associate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics Engineering, or a relevant IT field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in infrastructure/server. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and for fresh graduates, a minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
Basic Linux or Windows Server knowledge.
Basic hardware understanding (Dell, HPE, etc.).
Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with monitoring tools.
English Proficiency: Must be able to read technical documents (manuals) and write incident chronology reports in English.
Willing to work in 24/7 shifts and able to adapt quickly to new technologies.
Willing to be assigned to customer sites.
Strong analytical skills to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues rapidly.
This role requires acceptance of a contract-based employment status.
Nice to have:
Experience in Telco or Data Center (DC) environments.
Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy).
