Remote Recruitment is hiring a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relationships and purchasing activity for a UK-based business. Working fully remotely from South Africa, you'll ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing through to purchase order and delivery
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in line with business requirements
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with existing and new suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues proactively
- Maintain procurement records and support compliance and audit requirements
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally in a UK-facing role
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Familiarity with procurement systems and contract management
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Reliable internet and a professional home workspace
What's on Offer
- Salary: R27,000 per month
- Full-time, permanent remote position
- Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
