Associate

Join AKRUA Consulting as an Associate and play a vital role in delivering accounting, finance, and tax compliance services. You’ll prepare financial statements, assist in back-office processes, and help identify opportunities to improve our clients’ operations. Working closely with your team and leaders, you’ll gain practical exposure that builds your technical and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting records for assigned client accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management reports for clients.
• Assist with tax compliance activities, including VAT, withholding taxes, and data preparation.
• Process invoices and support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and stock opname when required.
• Communicate with clients to obtain required information and ensure timely deliverables.
• Utilize cloud accounting software such as Xero, Jurnal, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and Indonesian taxation.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Spreadsheet/Google Workspace.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
