About the role
PT BPT RESOURCES INDONESIA is seeking a talented Trading Operation Executive / Officer to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the efficient and effective management of our trading operations. As the Trading Operation Executive, you will play a key part in supporting our strategic objectives and driving the success of our business.
What you'll be doing
Understand and manage commodity trading contracts.
Communicate and negotiate contract terms with mines and customers.
Arrange and monitor shipments and cargo delivery.
Handle payments, L/C, DP/DA, invoices, and settlements.
Check shipping documents and supplier invoices to ensure everything is correct.
Coordinate vessels, insurance, port agents, loading and unloading. Calculate laytime, freight costs, and other related charges.
Maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers.
Work with Commercial, Risk, Finance, and Shipping teams to solve problems.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in International Trade, Maritime, Finance, Logistics, Business, Economics, or related fields.
Fresh graduates are welcome; relevant internship experience is a plus.
Fast learner and adaptable.
Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Proactive, responsible, and self-motivated.
Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
