Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business and Economics Teacher role based in Denpasar. The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Business and Economics aligned with international curriculum standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, leading classroom instruction, facilitating discussions, assigning and grading homework and assessments, and providing feedback to support student progress. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, participate in school meetings and professional development, and maintain clear communication with students and caregivers. The role also involves integrating 21st-century learning skills and real-world economic and business contexts into classroom activities.
Qualification
- Strong subject expertise in Business and Economics, with the ability to make concepts accessible and relevant for students.
- Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching, including designing structured, engaging lessons and managing classroom learning effectively.
- Background in Education, with knowledge of international curricula and student-centered teaching methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Business, Education, or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience at the secondary or pre-university level, preferably in an international or hybrid school setting.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and equitable education.
- Ability to integrate technology and real-world case studies into teaching to support 21st-century learning outcomes.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and collaborate within a diverse academic community.
