Since 2002, we have been working in remote and underserved communities across Bali, North Lombok, and West Sumba, providing quality learning programs, teacher training, and support for school infrastructure. We are currently seeking a Literacy and Numeracy Support Facilitator to join our team in Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali. This role is essential in helping us deliver high-quality education to children who need it most, and we are excited to find a passionate individual who shares our commitment to empowering futures through learning.
Role Overview
The Literacy & Numeracy Facilitator supports Grade 1–2 teachers and school leaders in implementing BCF’s EdTech program (Learning Literacy and Numeracy using Tablet). The role focuses on teacher training and mentoring, classroom support, basic technical assistance, asset management, monitoring, and school-level coordination to ensure quality literacy and numeracy learning.
Key Responsibilities
Train and mentor Grade 1–2 teachers and school leaders on BCF’s EdTech curriculum, tablets, and learning applications.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide practical feedback and pedagogical support.
Support the administration of Baseline, Midline, and Endline assessments.
Provide basic technical support and manage EdTech assets, including tablets, chargers, headsets, and charging cabinets.
Monitor program implementation and ensure adherence to BCF quality standards.
Collect and submit implementation evidence, reports, feedback, and program documentation.
Support parent engagement and school activities related to the EdTech program.
Build positive working relationships with teachers, school leaders, parents, and local communities.
Support the Senior Facilitator with training logistics, administration, data management, and documentation.
Conduct initial school surveys to assess the feasibility of new EFL, STEAM-H, ECD, and EdTech programs, in coordination with the Community Lead.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, PGSD, Educational Technology, Psychology, English Education, or a related field.
Experience in teacher training, facilitation, education programs, or educational technology is preferred.
Familiarity with the Indonesian education system and primary education.
Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and digital learning tools.
Strong communication, facilitation, teamwork, and reporting skills.
Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting teachers and students.
Willing to travel frequently to program areas.
Able to ride a motorcycle.
Bali-based or willing to relocate to Bali at own expense.
