Senior Accounting Associate II

The Senior Associate 2 - Accounting and Financial Consulting Group (AFCG) takes full ownership of complex financial consulting projects, manages multiple engagements, and plays a key role in team leadership, client advisory, and business development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting & Deliverables: Oversee complex financial reports, advisory projects, and business performance analysis while leading financial statement preparation under IFRS, PFRS, and Philippine tax regulations. Supervise payroll, AP, AR, and client accounting system setups.
• Financial Advisory & Consulting: Act as the main point of contact for high-value consulting engagements, managing complex projects and client expectations. Conduct financial health assessments, cash flow forecasting, profitability analysis, and build financial models for expansion, cost-cutting, or strategic planning.
• Leadership & Team Mentorship: Guide and train Junior Associates, review deliverables, and assist in succession planning by identifying high-potential team members for leadership roles.
• Client Relationship & Business Development: Maintain client relationships, prepare proposals and engagement letters, and actively assist in business development by identifying new clients and expanding service offerings.
• Process Improvement & Risk Management: Develop and propose innovative financial consulting solutions for firm-wide implementation, optimize operational workflows, and ensure legal, tax, and audit compliance.

Qualifications

• Can start IMMEDIATELY
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required (CMA, CFA, or MBA is an advantage).
• Experience: 5–7 years of experience in financial consulting, accounting, or business advisory, with proven experience leading engagements and managing teams.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of IFRS, PFRS, and Philippine tax regulations.
• Core Competencies: Strong financial analysis and reporting expertise, advanced business advisory and financial modeling capabilities, proven team leadership and mentorship skills, strategic client relationship management, and process optimization expertise.
