SAFEBOX is a fleet monitoring solutions company that enables maritime stakeholders to make data-driven decisions through innovative technology. Based in Balikpapan, we have transformed the operations of over 30 fleets—spanning the entire country from Sabang to Merauke—into data-driven systems. Our vision is to provide the transparency needed to support 1,000 data-driven marine operations by 2030. Our clients include vessel owners and operators from various industries including Nickel, Coal, CPO, Coral, Pulp, and Oil & Gas that drive our nation's economy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree (S1) in Information System, Project Management, Engineering Management, or relevant field.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.

• Good communication and stakeholder management.

• Decision-making ability for risk and timeline management.

• Familiar with project management platforms (especially ClickUp, Atlassian, or Asana).

• Experience managing cross-functional dependencies.

• Proficient in English language is a plus.

• Willing to be based in Safebox Office – Balikpapan.

Key responsibilities:

Roadmap & Planning

• Break down roadmap features into structured product backlogs and actionable project timelines.

• Create and maintain detailed project plans, including Gantt charts, sprint breakdowns, and key milestones.

• Prioritize backlog items in collaboration with Engineering and GTM stakeholders to keep execution aligned with roadmap objectives.

Cross-functional Alignment

• Identify and map dependencies across Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate regular alignment touchpoints to keep teams synced on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

• Proactively surface and resolve conflicts or bottlenecks arising from competing team priorities or resource constraints.

Execution & Tracking

• Track project progress against timelines and milestones, flagging deviations early.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines or quality.

• Escalate blockers to the relevant stakeholders and drive timely resolution.

Sprint Management

• Coordinate sprint planning sessions with the Engineering team to define scope and priorities.

• Facilitate backlog grooming to ensure user stories are well-defined and ready for development.

• Run daily standups to surface progress, blockers, and dependencies in real time.

Launch Readiness

• Manage scope changes throughout the project lifecycle and document their impact on timeline and resources.

• Confirm operational readiness with the Operations team at least four weeks prior to launch.

• Own end-to-end launch execution, including deployment coordination and completion of the launch checklist.
