The Cook Helper (Daily Worker) assists the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting daily kitchen operations. This position is responsible for ensuring food preparation areas are organized, hygienic, and operating efficiently according to company standards.
Assist chefs in basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, portioning ingredients).
Prepare simple dishes as instructed by the Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Ensure proper storage of food items following FIFO (First In, First Out) standards.
Support receiving and checking incoming supplies.
Dispose of waste according to hygiene and safety regulations.
Help with dishwashing when required.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
