Responsibilities:
- Supervise our advanced practice clinician
- Conduct chart audits and meetings with APCs
- Continuously and promptly give honest feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to improve our services
- Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and collaborate with the leadership team
Profile:
- Psychiatrist licensed to practice in New Jersey
- DEA registration in New Jersey
- Preferred: experience being a collaborating physician
- Minimum 1 year psych related experience
- Comfortable prescribing controlled substances when medically appropriate
- Comfortable prescribing for anxiety and depression
- Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric information about the patient to formulate effective and evidence-based clinical recommendations
- Patient-first mindset, deep work ethic and dedication to the highest level of patient care
- Willing to use a few simple tools to make your life easier (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.)
- Comfortable working remotely in a Telehealth fast-paced startup environment
- Interest for the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to transform mental health
