SAP Consultant (FI/CO)

Job Description

• Implement, configure, and maintain SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) modules according to business requirements.
• Analyze business processes and translate financial requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Perform SAP FICO configuration, customization, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and support SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Manage CO modules, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, IT, and other business teams to identify process improvements.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for enhancements and integrations.
• Conduct system testing, integration testing, UAT, and support issue resolution.
• Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
• Support SAP integration with other modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR.
• Monitor system performance and ensure SAP FICO processes comply with company policies and financial regulations.
• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and upgrade projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience working as an SAP FICO Consultant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI and CO business processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration and implementation.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with SAP integration with MM, SD, PP, or other SAP modules is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
• Experience in SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, or support projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• SAP FICO certification is a plus.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
