Role Description

We're building an automated bottle cap sorting system that combines computer vision, precision mechanics, and embedded systems. As a Mechatronics Engineer, you'll work alongside our engineering team to design, prototype, and validate dimension-based sorting mechanisms for high-speed industrial bottle cap processing. This is a hands-on role — you'll go from CAD sketch to working machine.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build the machine frame and structure for the sorter

• Design and build the conveyor system, including motor and drive

• Design and build the feeder mechanism for the machine

• Design and build the electrical panel powering the motors, solenoids, and microcontroller

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field

• Fluent in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor

• Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (3D printing, basic fabrication)

• Hands-on experience with CNC machining

• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools (drill, impact driver, grinder, etc.)

• Working knowledge of basic electronics components (power supplies, step-down converters, relays, MOSFETs)

• Able to design PCBs and solder/assemble wiring and panel connections by hand
