POSITION SUMMARY: - Verify and correct patient insurance and policy information to ensure clean claims prior to payer submission and minimize reimbursement delays. - Identify and resolve eligibility denials, verification failures, payer mapping issues, and system errors to improve claim accuracy. - Analyze eligibility trends and communicate findings to leadership to support process improvements and operational performance. - Collaborate with offshore teams and internal partners to improve eligibility accuracy, reduce denials, and optimize revenue cycle outcomes. - Maintain productivity, quality, and accuracy standards while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced remote environment. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred with 2+ years of medical billing, eligibility, or healthcare revenue cycle experience. - Knowledge of payer requirements, coordination of benefits, claim processing, eligibility verification, clearinghouses, and 277/278 EDI files. - Experience using insurance payer portals, eligibility verification tools, denials management, and reimbursement processes. - Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a customer-focused approach. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
