The Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting management in making informed financial decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare invoices and process payments.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Ensure taxes and other government requirements are filed on time.
- Maintain organized financial records.
- Assist during audits and financial reviews.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in accounting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Accurate, honest, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
