Chief Security

Position Summary

The Chief Security is responsible for leading and managing the overall security operations of Reload Sanctuary, ensuring the safety and security of members, guests, employees, company assets, facilities, and daily operations.

The position requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, physical fitness, high discipline, and the ability to remain calm and professional when handling incidents or emergency situations.

The Chief Security will work closely with Management, HR, Operations, Front Office, Engineering, and external security partners to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for both local and international members.

Key Responsibilities

1. Security Operations

• Oversee daily security operations across all Reload Sanctuary areas.

• Ensure all security personnel are properly positioned and actively performing their assigned duties.

• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, public areas, staff areas, and other critical locations.

• Ensure proper access control for members, guests, employees, contractors, and vendors.

• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections.

• Ensure security procedures and post orders are consistently followed.

2. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the security team on a daily basis.

• Prepare and manage security duty rosters and manpower allocation.

• Conduct daily briefings and security updates.

• Monitor attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance of security personnel.

• Provide coaching and corrective action when required.

• Coordinate with security vendors regarding manpower, performance, and disciplinary matters.

• Ensure all security personnel understand their responsibilities and assigned positions.

3. Incident & Emergency Management

• Respond immediately to security incidents, accidents, disturbances, and emergencies.

• Take appropriate action to protect members, guests, employees, and company property.

• Coordinate with management and relevant departments during emergency situations.

• Liaise with Police, Fire Department, Ambulance, or other authorities when necessary.

• Prepare detailed incident reports for management.

• Conduct investigations and provide recommendations following security incidents.

4. Asset & Property Protection

• Protect Reload Sanctuary's equipment, facilities, inventory, and other company assets from theft, misuse, or unauthorized access.

• Monitor the movement of company assets, equipment, and high-value items.

• Ensure proper control of contractor and vendor access.

• Investigate suspected theft, loss, damage, or unauthorized use of company property.

• Work closely with relevant departments to strengthen asset protection procedures.

5. CCTV & Security Systems

• Monitor and ensure proper operation of CCTV and other security systems.

• Conduct regular checks of CCTV coverage and recording functionality.

• Ensure security-related equipment is maintained and operational.

• Coordinate with Engineering and IT when technical issues affect security operations.

• Maintain proper confidentiality of CCTV footage and security information.

6. Guest & Member Safety

• Maintain a professional and welcoming security presence.

• Assist members and guests when security-related support is required.

• Handle difficult or sensitive situations professionally and calmly.

• Ensure security procedures do not negatively impact the member experience.

• Support crowd control and security arrangements during events and special activities.

7. Vendor & Contractor Control

• Monitor security-related activities involving contractors and external vendors.

• Ensure contractors follow access, safety, and security procedures.

• Verify authorized access to restricted areas.

• Prevent unauthorized use of company facilities, equipment, or property.

• Report any security violations involving vendors or contractors to Management.

8. Security Policies & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve security SOPs and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable security regulations.

• Conduct regular security risk assessments.

• Identify potential security risks and recommend preventive measures.

• Maintain proper security documentation, logs, reports, and records.

Security Readiness

Target: 100% security posts properly staffed and operational during scheduled operating hours.

Incident Response

Target: Immediate response to security incidents and emergencies with proper escalation and documentation.

Security Compliance

Target: 100% compliance with security SOPs, post orders, and access-control procedures.

Asset Protection

Target: Minimize theft, unauthorized access, loss, and misuse of company assets.

Team Discipline

Target: Maintain high standards of attendance, grooming, alertness, conduct, and professionalism.

Incident Reporting

Target: 100% of significant security incidents documented accurately and submitted within the required timeframe.

CCTV & Equipment Readiness

Target: Security systems and equipment remain operational and issues are escalated promptly.

Member & Guest Safety

Target: Maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment without negatively affecting the member experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security, preferably in hospitality, wellness, luxury lifestyle, hotel, or high-end commercial environments.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or security leadership position.

• Strong knowledge of security operations, access control, incident management, and emergency procedures.

• Physically fit and capable of maintaining an active security presence throughout the operation.

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Able to communicate professionally with international guests, members, vendors, and management.

• Able to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• High level of integrity, discipline, confidentiality, and responsibility.

• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, public holidays, and during events when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international guests or members.

• Experience in hospitality, luxury lifestyle, wellness, gym, resort, or entertainment environments.

• Experience managing outsourced security personnel.

• First Aid / CPR certification.

• Basic fire safety and emergency response training.

• Experience handling VIP guests or high-profile events.

• Strong understanding of CCTV and electronic security systems.
