About the role We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the Electroplating/Plating Section to join PT YKK Zipper Indonesia in Depok, Jawa Barat. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our electroplating and plating department. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal production efficiency, maintaining strict quality standards, and leading a dedicated team of production operators. This supervisory role is fundamental to our commitment to delivering high-quality zipper components to our global customers and directly impacts our production targets and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the electroplating and plating production team to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards Monitor production output, efficiency metrics, and equipment performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks and operational issues
Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and environmental compliance regulations within the plating section Conduct regular inspections of plated components to verify quality standards and ensure conformance to customer specifications Train, mentor, and develop production operators, providing guidance on proper plating techniques and equipment operation
Manage inventory of chemicals, materials, and supplies required for the electroplating process, ensuring optimal stock levels Identify and communicate equipment maintenance requirements to the maintenance team and coordinate repairs to minimise production downtime Prepare and maintain detailed production reports, quality records, and documentation for management review
Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives Foster a positive work environment, promote team engagement, and address workforce concerns and disciplinary matters as required What we're looking for
