Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Software Development, Test Automation, or Industrial Automation (Fresh Graduates are welcome if applicable).
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), object-oriented programming (OOP), and software testing methodologies.
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium, or similar).
- Familiarity with PLC, HMI, SCADA, or industrial automation systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and version control systems (Git).
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and support production operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications for automation and production systems.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and software quality.
- Perform software debugging, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Automation, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to develop automation solutions.
- Support the integration, validation, and commissioning of automation systems and equipment.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain technical documentation, test reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Optimize software performance, reliability, and maintainability through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development and testing lifecycle.
- Provide technical support for automation systems and resolve software-related issues in production environments.
