We’re looking for an Payroll Intern to join our HR & Payroll team team based in Batam, Indonesia to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while optimizing efficiency and maintaining employee and client satisfaction. This role is responsible for supporting payroll operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies, and collaborating with finance, HR, and legal teams to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support payroll administration and statutory, by ensuring the records are properly maintain in the payroll/HRIS system
• Assisting on Payroll Data Management, by assisting the payroll team on maintaining accurate payroll records to minimize data entry discrepancies
• Supporting on payroll audit and validation
• Supporting on monthly payroll processing including payroll processing tasks

Who We Are Looking For

• Final-year students or fresh graduates who will be able to commit to a minimum of a 3-month full-time internship arrangement are welcome to apply 
• Good command of English (written and verbal)
• Basic Data Handling & Analysis - Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., sorting, filtering, simple formulas) to support reporting and tracking 
• Prior internship experience in HR Operations/Payroll is a huge plus point
• Willing to learn and use HRMS, payroll systems, and internal dashboards to manage and extract data 
•  Good analytical skills, systematic and well-organized with a keen attention to details

What You'll Be Doing

Data recording and input management with high accuracy 

Reporting & Tracking Support - Able to assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports, tracking key metrics (e.g., attendance, performance, invoices) 

Basic Data Handling & Analysis - Able to identify inconsistencies in data, flag issues, and support root cause analysis with guidance 

Presenting simple findings clearly to team members and highlight key observations

Post-Internship Recognition: At the end of your internship, you will present your key project/learnings to a leadership panel and receive a "GFLP Certificate" as an endorsement. You will also be evaluated based on your project and work outcomes for a full-time conversion opportunity (priority for final year students or graduates).
