Job Title: IT Engineer

Reporting to: IT Engineer Manager

Location: Indonesia, Cikarang
 

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and respond to IT operation incidents, service requests, and support tickets , ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

2. Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation for GPU servers, CPU servers, network devices, and connectivity issues to minimize service disruption.

3. Coordinate and supervise hardware maintenance and repair activities conducted by server and network equipment vendors.

4. Conduct routine inspections of data center IT equipment, identify abnormalities, and perform corrective actions as required.

5. Monitor and maintain data center environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, physical security, and access control systems.

6. Install, rack, configure, and decommission servers, network equipment, and related infrastructure according to operational requirements.

7. Perform hardware replacement, cabling, and physical link management, including fiber optic, network, and power cable organization.

8. Assist with operating system installation, configuration, testing, and basic system troubleshooting.

9. Support data center construction, migration, expansion, and infrastructure deployment projects.

10. Respond promptly to emergencies, critical incidents, and unexpected events to ensure continuous and stable business operations.

11. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment status, incident reports, and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.

2. Basic understanding of server hardware, including GPU servers, CPU servers, storage systems, and network equipment.

3. Familiar with Linux operating systems and basic administration commands.

4. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, cabling standards, and network troubleshooting fundamentals.

5. Understanding of data center operations, environmental monitoring systems, and physical infrastructure is an advantage.

6. Ability to troubleshoot hardware, network, and system-related issues in a structured and efficient manner.

7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

8. Able to work independently, manage priorities under pressure, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

9. Willing to be based in Cikarang and open to occasional business travel.

10. Good communication skills in Mandarin.
