We are looking for a customer-oriented and detail-focused Healthcare Customer Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to members, patients, and healthcare providers by handling inquiries related to healthcare benefits, insurance coverage, claims, appointments, and other healthcare services. You will deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring accurate information and timely resolution of concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist members, patients, and healthcare providers with questions regarding healthcare benefits, coverage, claims, billing, and account information.
- Verify member eligibility and explain healthcare plans and benefits.
- Document customer interactions accurately in the company's system.
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
- Meet established quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
- College graduates are welcome to apply (No BPO experience required).
- College undergraduates must have at least 6 months of BPO or customer service experience.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple applications.
- Willing to work onsite and on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or customer service is an advantage but not required.
