About the role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join the team at Torotoro Handroll Bar. This is a full-time position based in Badung, Bali. As a Cashier, you will be the final point of contact for our customers, responsible for processing transactions with Quinos accurately and efficiently whilst maintaining exceptional service standards. This role is crucial to our retail operations, ensuring smooth checkout experiences and contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will play a vital part in our daily operations and help create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest who visits our establishment.

What you'll be doing

1. Processing customer payments using Quinos point-of-sale (POS) systems with accuracy and efficiency

2. Handling cash, card payments and other payment methods securely and reconciling the cash drawer at the end of each shift

3. Providing friendly and professional customer service whilst managing queues effectively

4. Scanning items and entering information into the register system accurately

5. Issuing receipts and providing change to customers promptly

6. Answering customer inquiries regarding products, pricing and promotions

7. Maintaining a clean and organised checkout area

8. Assisting with stock management and product displays as required

9. Reporting discrepancies or issues to management

10. Following all company policies and health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar retail role is advantageous

2. Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions

3. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple transactions efficiently

6. Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic

7. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations

8. Basic knowledge of the products we offer or willingness to learn quickly

9. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends as required

10. Honest and trustworthy with strong integrity when handling money
