About Us
We’re a Christchurch-based family business group with three companies — Agrippa Paints, Five Star Products, and Fine Art Supplies — manufacturing and distributing house paints, art paints, art supplies, and craft products across New Zealand and internationally. Our brands include Mastermax (sold through Mitre 10/MEGA nationwide), Novex, and our art brands FAS and FSP. We’re a lean team of ~25 people and we move fast.
The Role
This is a hands-on digital marketing and content execution role across four brands. You’re shooting and editing video yourself, taking product photos, running social channels, managing paid ads, and keeping our digital presence sharp. The GM sets brand strategy — your job is to own the execution.
For Fine Art Supplies and Five Star Products you’ll also run the wholesale email programme direct to buyer databases. This is not a management role — you’re in the tools every day.
What You’ll Do
• Shoot and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) across all four brands
• Take and edit product photography for digital, print, and wholesale use
• Manage social channels and content calendars across four brands with a consistent cadence
• Own and manage paid social (Meta Ads) and Google Ads for Mastermax
• Build and execute monthly email marketing to FAS & FSP buyer databases (Mailchimp or equivalent)
• Own website content across all brands — keep it current and sharp
• Brief our external graphic designer on print artwork requirements and manage through to print-ready files
• Support the sales team with stockist-facing marketing materials
What We’re Looking For
• Proven short-form video creation ability — you’ll show us work or complete a brief as part of the process
• Hands-on Meta Ads and Google Ads experience — you’ve set up and managed campaigns
• Strong copywriting across different brand voices including buyer-facing communications
• Experience managing multiple social channels with a consistent publishing cadence
• Comfortable with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or equivalent)
• Competent product photographer — able to shoot clean, usable images independently
• Confident briefing external designers on print artwork
• Self-managing and accountable — you don’t need daily direction
• Experience in retail, FMCG, trade, or art/education supply is a bonus
The Package
• $75,000 – $80,000 depending on experience
• Adobe Creative Cloud and the tools you need to do the job well
• 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution
• 4 weeks annual leave + 10 days sick leave
• On-site role, Hornby, Christchurch
