About Elite Energy Events

Elite Energy Events is a fast-paced sports events company behind some of NSW's most exciting running and triathlon events, including Run Huskisson, Run Wollongong and the Shimano Huskisson Triathlon Festival. We're a small, driven team who move quickly, think creatively, and care deeply about the athlete experience. We are based on the beautiful NSW coast so if you live here or are considering a location change, its a beautiful area.

Position Summary

We're looking for a creative and experienced Marketing Coordinator who’s keen to revamp and improve our event content and social media management. You'll play a key role in bringing our events to life online, from crafting engaging social content and editing promotional reels to help drive event registrations.

If you're passionate about sport health and fitness, love creating content and are eager to develop professional skills in marketing this one's for you.

What you'll be doing

• Produce and edit reels, promotional videos, and short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, concept to publish

• Write compelling copy for social posts, campaigns, and event promotions

• Develop shot lists and content briefs for event-day photographers and videographers

• Monitor and manage comments, messages, and community engagement across our events social media accounts

• Repurpose and adapt content across platforms and formats

• Track analytics and use performance insights to continuously improve content output

• Assisting with the production of presentations, posters, signage, merchandise and event materials

• Support the marketing team on campaigns, presentations, event materials, and signage

Skills & experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in digital marketing, social media, or a marketing role.

• Proven video editing skills -CapCut, Reels, TikTok, or similar

• Strong copywriting across social and digital channels

• A creative eye for visual storytelling, branding, and design

• Proficiency in Canva or equivalent design tools

• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and platform analytics

• Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable moving fast in a small team

• Genuine passion for sport, health, or fitness

Highly Desirable

• Marketing, Communications, Business, or Digital Media qualification
