Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to create visually compelling and market-ready greeting card collections for a variety of key U.S. occasions. This role requires a strong design foundation, exceptional typography skills, and the ability to develop cohesive product collections that align with consumer expectations and market trends.

The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, can work independently with minimal supervision, and is experienced in producing print-ready designs while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Development

• Design original greeting card collections for major U.S. occasions, including weddings, birthdays, holidays, sympathy, baby celebrations, and other seasonal events

• Create visually cohesive collections consisting of 6–12 card designs that maintain consistent style and quality

• Develop print-ready design templates that meet production and technical requirements

• Produce designs that align with market trends, consumer preferences, and occasion-specific themes

Typography & Visual Design

• Apply strong typography principles to create impactful, polished, and aesthetically balanced designs

• Build clear visual hierarchy and ensure consistency across entire design collections

• Create designs ranging across multiple aesthetics, from elegant and timeless to warm, celebratory, and playful

Production & File Management

• Prepare organized, production-ready files using clean and clearly structured Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop layers

• Ensure designs are technically accurate and ready for printing without additional modifications

• Maintain consistency and quality standards across all deliverables

Collaboration & Feedback Management

• Work closely with stakeholders while following creative briefs accurately

• Communicate proactively when design deviations or adjustments are needed

• Incorporate revisions and feedback professionally while maintaining design integrity

• Communicate clearly and effectively in English throughout the design process

Qualifications Required

• Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or equivalent formal training

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in graphic design or related creative roles

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

• Strong expertise in typography, layout composition, and visual storytelling

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Ability to consistently produce high-quality design collections rather than one-off design pieces

• Experience using AI design tools such as Midjourney

• Strong English communication skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience in stationery or print product design

• Familiarity with U.S. greeting card occasions and their cultural significance

• Understanding of U.S. design preferences, consumer behavior, and visual trends within the greeting card market
