Production Engineer

Main Responsibilities

• To plan, organize, schedule and coordinate all project matters with relevant parties in ensuring smooth, safe and quality work execution, timely completion and hand over as well as full compliance to contract requirement.

• To maintain good relationship and attend project meeting with vendor, sub- contractors and client and prepare minutes of meeting records all matters discussed.

• To familiarize with the requirements of safety plan (OSHA) Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and Regulation, Factory and Machinery and Regulation) and other relevant legislation and how it applies to the project.

• To travel and meet with clients, 3rd party inspectors, approval authority or consultant from time to time in connection with your duties.

• Planning, determining, coordinating and controlling the processes concerning to production.

• Delivering quality engineering production solutions in learned response to development, hardware, manufacturing and operational needs. Provide solution to improve and innovate production method process.

• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely completion, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize delays.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and resources for production, avoiding delays and cost overruns.

• Plan and provide production schedule for timely delivery of boiler components. Implementing project schedules and plans in a timely effective manner.

• Any other duties associated with your position as and when necessary, from time to time.

• Ensure that daily tasks are carried out are in accordance with the HSE policies & procedures.

• Ensure all employees under his care prioritize safety when perform their duties.

• Ensure all employees under his care consider to eliminate/reduce environmental impact when perform their duties.

• To be Employer representatives in HSE Committee. (if appointed).

What you'll Bring:

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Computer Literate, knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Power Point.

• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

• Candidates shall be able to carry out task independently, possess high integrity, and good interpersonal skills

• Candidates shall be able to communicates effectively with internal and external departments

• Candidates shall perform analytical skills to handle the multiple tasks by priority under pressure.
