FULL STACK DEVELOPER

About the role

As Greetsquare's Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role behind our brand's online presence @greetsquare.com. You will take end-to-end ownership of the Greetsquare portal — from maintaining platform stability and fixing bugs to developing new features that enhance the experience for employers, recruiters, and job seekers. You will work closely with the founding team and product stakeholders to translate ideas into scalable, high-performing solutions. This is a high-impact role for someone who takes pride in clean code, cares deeply about user experience, and wants to see their work used by thousands of people every day.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Greetsquare portal to ensure high availability, performance, and security

• Monitor platform health, identify issues proactively, and resolve bugs and incidents promptly

• Perform regular code reviews, refactoring, and technical debt management

• Ensure data integrity, backup procedures, and compliance with relevant security standards

• Design, develop, and deploy new features across the full stack — from intuitive front-end interfaces to robust back-end logic and APIs

• Improve existing platform functionality based on user feedback, analytics, and business requirements

• Build and enhance video upload, playback, and profile features central to Greetsquare's core experience

• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party tools and services (e.g. payment gateways, email platforms, analytics tools)

• Manage cloud infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines

• Optimise platform speed, scalability, and reliability as the user base grows

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience (2–5 years) as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in a SaaS, marketplace, or digital platform environment

• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and a modern framework such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular

• Strong back-end development experience with Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar

• Proficient in relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

• Experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and DevOps practices

• Self-motivated, organised, energetic, independent and fun to work with
