Host Live Coordinator

Job Description

• Host Roster & Shift Management: Construct, optimize, and manage the monthly shift roster for all full-time and freelance Live Hosts, ensuring unbroken broadcasting coverage during peak traffic windows and mega-campaigns.
• Real-Time Stream Monitoring: Sit in-session during live broadcasts to monitor real-time engagement analytics, viewer counts, and comment flows, actively directing the host via earpieces to adjust product priorities or pacing.
• Studio & Technical Production: Oversee the complete operational readiness of all live-streaming studios, ensuring lighting arrays, audio feeds, internet bandwidth, camera angles, and backdrop visuals match brand standards.
• Commercial Strategy Integration: Partner with the E-commerce and Marketing teams to design high-converting live-stream flowcharts, flash sale schedules, exclusive voucher rollouts, and pricing bundles.
• Talent Coaching & Briefing: Conduct comprehensive pre-stream briefings with hosts regarding specific product knowledge, campaign unique selling propositions (USPs), target audience profiles, and compliance rules.
• Back-End SKU Moderation: Supervise the real-time operational back-end (TikTok Seller Center/Shopee Live backend), dynamically pinning products, updating stock inventory allocations, and triggering flash deals in sync with the host's pitch.
• Performance Analytics & GMV Tracking: Compile and analyze deep post-live performance reports—tracking metrics like GMV, conversion rates, click-through rates (CTR), and average viewer retention—to calculate host incentives and evaluate ROI.
• Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Actively scout, audition, and onboard fresh live-hosting talent, creators, and agency partners to continuously scale and diversify the brand's on-camera roster.
• Compliance & Policy Safeguarding: Enforce strict alignment with marketplace community guidelines to prevent sudden stream bans, warning points, or platform penalties during live sessions.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Broadcasting, Communications, Marketing, Theatre/Performing Arts, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of proven professional experience as a Live Stream Coordinator, Producer, or Host Lead, explicitly within high-volume e-commerce environments (TikTok Shop/Shopee Live).
• Technical Mastery: Deep operational familiarity with live-streaming software (OBS Studio, vMix), platform seller centers, studio lighting configurations, and digital audio interfaces.
• Data Literacy: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to log high-volume sales metrics, calculate conversions, and track host performance trends over time.
• Assertive Leadership & Agility: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to direct on-camera talent firmly yet motivatably, with the ability to solve technical or operational crises instantly under live pressure.
• Strategic Selling Mindset: Sound understanding of live-commerce psychological hooks, consumer retention tactics, and high-velocity promotional structures.
• Scheduling Flexibility: Fully willing and able to work a flexible shift schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and high-intensity overnight mega-campaign blocks.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional communication skills to align live studio outputs perfectly with internal Warehouse, Procurement, and Digital Marketing teams.
