On behalf of our client, we are currently hiring for the following position:
Backend Developer (Node.js / Express.js) – Remote (WFH)
Collaborate closely with an overseas client based in Malaysia, working remotely from Indonesia while following Malaysian working hours.
Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js for scalable applications.
- Translate business and technical requirements into efficient and reliable backend solutions.
- Ensure system performance, security, and code quality through best practices, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and backend enhancements in alignment with defined project KPIs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer using Node.js and Express.js in production environments.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and backend architecture.
- Able to communicate effectively in English for daily coordination with international teams and clients.
- Willing to work remotely from Indonesia while adhering to Malaysian working hours on a freelance basis.
- Available to join immediately for a 3-month contract, extendable based on performance (KPI).
