About the Role:

Overview

Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultants to support enterprise-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation and implementation initiatives. This role is responsible for leading functional delivery across Oracle Finance Cloud modules while working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure successful implementation and operational alignment.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Finance modules, combined with experience in solution design, business process transformation, system configuration, testing, deployment support, and stakeholder management. The role requires the ability to lead finance workstreams throughout the full project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, integration support, user training, and post-go-live stabilization within a fast-paced transformation environment.

This position also involves ownership of finance track delivery activities, including data conversion, inbound/outbound integrations, process optimization, and coordination across onshore and offshore project teams.

Responsibilities

• Functional implementation and delivery activities across Oracle Fusion Finance Cloud modules.

• Analyze existing business processes and conduct fit-gap analysis to define optimized Oracle Fusion Finance solutions.

• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system solutions.

• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Finance Cloud modules including: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CE), Fixed Assets (FA), Purchasing (PO), Projects (PA)

• Design finance solutions aligned with business requirements, accounting principles, and industry best practices.

• Support data conversion, inbound/outbound interfaces, and integration activities with technical teams and third-party systems.

• Configure finance-related setups including chart of accounts, accounting rules, tax configurations, and financial reporting structures.

• Develop and execute test scenarios and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go-Live, and stabilization activities.

• Conduct demonstrations and knowledge-sharing sessions for Oracle quarterly updates and new features.

• Deliver user training sessions and provide functional guidance to end users and stakeholders.

• Provide post-implementation support and resolve functional issues to ensure smooth business operations.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation including functional design documents, configuration documents, process flows, and user guides.

• Collaborate effectively with project managers, technical consultants, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within scope and timeline.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of experience in Oracle applications with strong experience in Oracle Fusion Finance Cloud implementations.

• Hands-on functional consulting experience in Oracle Fusion Finance modules including: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CE), Fixed Assets (FA)

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, business processes, and industry best practices.

• Experience leading Oracle Fusion Finance functional design and implementation activities.

• Strong experience in Oracle Cloud Finance configuration and setup activities.

• Ability to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and provide functional solutions aligned with business needs.

• Experience supporting end-to-end implementation lifecycle activities including configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and stabilization.

• Basic experience writing simple PL/SQL queries for troubleshooting and analysis purposes.

• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced project environments.

• Experience with Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).

• Knowledge of OTBI reporting capabilities.

• Understanding of integration processes between third-party systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud through Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Experience supporting data conversion and inbound/outbound interface activities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with third-party vendors and cross-functional support teams.

• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including senior management.

• Oracle Cloud Finance certification is an advantage.

• Experience in Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration projects is preferred.
