Salary: R23 000 per month
Remote Recruitment is hiring a Call Centre Agent to work from home in South Africa for a UK-based business. You will be the first voice customers hear, handling inbound and outbound calls with patience and clarity, and making sure every caller comes away feeling looked after.
This is a full-time, 100% remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound follow-up calls to customers
- Log every conversation accurately in the CRM so nothing gets lost
- Resolve straightforward queries on the first call and escalate the rest with clear notes
- Meet daily call targets without rushing people off the phone
- Work alongside the wider UK team over Slack and video calls
- Flag recurring customer problems to your team leader
What you will need
- Experience with phone-based customer contact in a call centre or similar setting
- A clear, neutral speaking voice and strong written English
- Familiarity with CRM or ticketing software
- The patience to stay calm with a frustrated caller
- A quiet home workspace, a reliable computer and stable fibre internet
- A backup power solution for load shedding
