Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to serve as the Senior HR Manager for our Indonesia operations. Based in Jakarta, this role is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resource management for our local workforce. The incumbent will design, implement, and optimize localized HR systems that harmonize Indonesian labor regulations and cultural nuances with our global management standards. As a strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development, ensuring operational excellence and long-term business sustainability within the Indonesian market.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee end-to-end HR operations, ensuring full compliance with the Indonesian Manpower Law, BPJS, and local employment policies.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, attendance, personnel records, payroll coordination, and government-mandated manpower reporting, while effectively mitigating labor risks.
2. Manpower Planning & Recruitment
Lead strategic manpower planning and full-cycle recruitment across sales, operations, and functional departments.
Optimize recruitment channels to improve hiring efficiency and talent quality.
Develop and execute standardized onboarding and induction programs to accelerate new hire integration and improve long-term retention.
3. Performance & Incentive Management
Design and implement localized performance management systems and role-specific KPI appraisal mechanisms.
Optimize incentive and bonus structures to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and a high-performance culture.
4. Employee Relations & Team Stabilization
Act as the primary point of contact for employee engagement, conflict resolution, and internal communications.
Conduct turnover analysis and exit interviews; proactively address grievances to enhance workforce stability and overall employee satisfaction.
5. Talent Development & Capability Building
Establish localized training frameworks tailored to various employee levels.
Facilitate professional and leadership development programs to cultivate internal talent pipelines and elevate organizational capability.
6. HR Analytics & Global Alignment
Monitor and analyze key HR metrics (manpower structure, turnover, cost, performance) to provide actionable insights.
Ensure local HR practices remain aligned with global group policies while supporting regional strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional HR experience in Indonesia, with proven expertise in full-cycle operations and managing diverse teams (including sales and back-office functions).
Language Skills: Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is mandatory for effective cross-regional communication. Able to communicate Mandarin / Chinese is huge advantage.
Compliance Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, BPJS regulations, and local employment practices; capable of independent risk management.
Market Acumen: Strong understanding of the local talent market and recruitment landscape, with the ability to scale manpower allocation across various business lines.
Core Competencies: Data-driven mindset with proficiency in HR reporting; exceptional communication, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.
Cultural Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between global company standards and local operational requirements.
