About the role

We are seeking a Drone Test & Development Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to join our team on a contract basis in Bali. We're developing a versatile platform drone capable of both heavy-lifting cargo operations and manned flight (under applicable jurisdictions). This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to launch their career in aerospace engineering with hands-on experience in drone technology. In this role, you will contribute to the testing, development, and optimisation of unmanned aerial systems. About the Project:

Position Type: 

- Short-term contract (3-6 months) with potential conversion to permanent full-time

- Part-time workload (light load, flexible hours)

- Work alone on technical side; collaborate with commercial engineer

What You'll Do:

- Conduct flight testing of custom cargo drone and document performance data

- Analyze flight test results to identify design improvements

- Design and implement engineering modifications using CAD

- Rapid prototype new components (3D printing, fabrication)

- Maintain technical documentation and test reports

- Support CAAM certification preparation activities

- Visit Cyberjaya for testing/development as needed

What We Need:

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, 

  Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering (fresh graduate acceptable)

- Basic CAD knowledge (SolidWorks preferred)

- Hands-on mentality – comfortable building, soldering, testing hardware

- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong problem-solving skills and genuine interest in drone technology

- Ability to travel to Cyberjaya for testing sessions

Bonus If You Have:

- Personal drone experience (hobbyist pilot, university drone club member)

- Rapid prototyping experience (3D printing, CNC, fabrication)

- Basic Python or MATLAB for data analysis

- Understanding of Malaysian aviation/UAV regulations
