Responsibilities
Create high-quality 2D illustrations, including characters, environments, props, textures, and other game assets.
Produce artwork that aligns with the project's art direction while maintaining a consistent visual style.
Refine, revise, and improve existing artwork based on project needs and feedback.
Apply lighting, shading, color, and texture techniques to create polished, visually engaging illustrations.
Work closely with the Art Director and development team to ensure assets meet both artistic and production requirements.
Manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality artwork within project deadlines.
Requirements
A strong portfolio demonstrating anime-style illustrations, including character and environment artwork. (Portfolio is required.)
Proficiency in Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
Comfortable using a professional drawing tablet.
Strong ability to adapt to different art styles while maintaining high artistic quality, especially anime-inspired aesthetics.
Solid understanding of:
Human anatomy and character design
Perspective and composition
Color theory, lighting, and shading
Form, line quality, and visual storytelling
Environmental, architectural, and technical design
Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
Passion for games, anime, and creating immersive visual experiences.
Bonus Points
Experience creating artwork for mobile or PC games.
Knowledge of asset optimization for game engines.
Familiarity with UI illustration, visual effects, or concept art.
Experience working in a collaborative game development environment.
