Core Job Responsibilities

  1. Establish and maintain government relations

    Liaise with central and local government authorities in Indonesia, including the Investment Coordinating Board, Ministry of Industry and Trade, local government offices and other relevant departments. Build long-term, stable and trusted partnerships through regular visits and communications, and keep track of policy updates and industry regulatory requirements in a timely manner.

  2. Expand external relations

    Develop and maintain sound connections with industry associations, peer institutions and key partners, and build external networks. Support business expansion and resource integration, and drive the implementation of cross-organizational and cross-sector cooperation projects.

  3. Policy liaison and interpretation

    Monitor updates to local laws, regulations, industrial policies and investment policies in Indonesia. Analyze the impact of policy changes on business operations, deliver professional suggestions for corporate strategic decision-making and business arrangement, and ensure full operational compliance.

  4. Execute government affairs

    Take charge of the liaison, application and follow-up of government-related matters such as project approval, qualification processing and policy incentive applications. Coordinate and resolve issues arising from government liaison during business operations to ensure efficient delivery of all tasks.

  5. PR coordination and risk management

    Support corporate public relations work and handle PR affairs involving government bodies and media, with timely response to all inquiries. Identify potential risks related to government relations and policies, and formulate response plans to avert compliance and public relations risks.

  6. Internal collaboration and reporting

    Work closely with all business departments to share policy requirements and external resource information, and assist teams with government liaison work. Regularly submit work progress reports, policy analysis and work plans to superiors.

  7. Perform other duties related to government relations and external liaison as assigned by the company.

Job Requirements

  1. Nationality: Full working rights for Indonesia. Candidates with in-depth knowledge of local culture and policy environment as well as established local resources are preferred.

  2. Proven expertise in government liaison and network development; presentable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  3. Language proficiency: Native-level command of Indonesian; fluent in English and Mandarin, capable of conducting daily communication, official document drafting and business negotiations proficiently.

  4. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Public Administration, International Relations, Business Administration, Law and other related fields are preferred.
