Responsibilities
Facilitate communication between Chinese management/engineers and local site teams to ensure instructions are clearly understood and executed.
Provide real-time oral interpretation (Mandarin ? Indonesian, and English where required) during site meetings, technical discussions, and coordination with subcontractors.
Assist in preparing bilingual or trilingual documentation (Mandarin / Indonesian / English).
Support coordination with local authorities, suppliers, and government agencies as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of project information and documents.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in any discipline. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field is a strong plus.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, and English (spoken and written).
Prior experience as a translator/interpreter in a construction, infrastructure, or industrial project is highly preferred.
Familiarity with civil construction terminology and technical vocabulary in both Mandarin and Indonesian.
Willing to be based and work on-site in Palembang, South Sumatra (salary is negotiable based on experience).
