Job Description


The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and preparing process engineering design documents for industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical, food & beverage, and manufacturing facility projects.


Key responsibilities include:


Preparing and developing process engineering documents, including:

Process Flow Diagram (PFD)

Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)

Mass Balance and Energy Balance

Process Description

Equipment List

Line List

Utility Consumption Summary

Process Datasheet

Performing process calculations related to production capacity, utility requirements, equipment sizing, and process optimization.

Using SuperPro Designer software for process simulation, material balance, process analysis, cost estimation, and efficiency evaluation.

Coordinating with other engineering disciplines, including Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC, Civil, and Architecture.

Supporting the preparation of technical documents for Conceptual Design, Basic Design, Detail Engineering Design, and Tender Documents.

Reviewing vendor documents, equipment specifications, and technical data related to process engineering.

Ensuring that process design complies with client requirements, engineering standards, safety principles, and applicable regulations.


Requirements:


Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Process Engineer, preferably in an engineering consultant, EPC, or EPCM company.

Strong knowledge in process engineering design, process calculation, equipment sizing, and utility systems.

Familiar using software SuperPro Designer

Able to use SuperPro Designer software for process simulation, mass balance, cost estimation, and process evaluation.

Experienced in preparing process engineering documents such as PFD, P&ID, Mass Balance, Energy Balance, Process Datasheet, and Utility Summary.

Familiar with industrial facility design, pharmaceutical facility, chemical process, food & beverage, or manufacturing projects.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design standards.

Good analytical thinking, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.

Able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.

Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
