Position                 : Sales Officer And Sales Associate

Reports to              : Sales Lead

About the Role

As a Sales Officer/Sales Associate, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and driving sales growth for GKI's cocoa products in both domestic and international markets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

·        Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and export markets.

·        Achieve sales targets while maximizing sales volume and profitability.

·        Conduct market research and monitor industry trends.

·        Promote products through exhibitions, customer visits, and other marketing activities.

·        Develop effective route-to-market strategies and support brand-building initiatives.

·        Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, and HR teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

·        Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business reports.

·        Monitor sales performance and recommend improvement strategies.

·        Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

·        Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, Food Technology, or a related field.

·        1–3 years of experience in B2B sales (Sales Officer) or at least 1 year of sales experience (Sales Associate).

·        Experience in the cocoa, food ingredients, FMCG, commodities, or related industries is an advantage.

·        Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

·        Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

·        Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

·        Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.

·        Willing to travel for business when required.
