What you'll be doing
Oversee the execution of all construction activities for fire safety projects, including scheduling, resource management and quality control
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and address any issues that arise
Monitor project progress and budgets, identifying and resolving any variances or risks to successful delivery
Ensure construction work complies with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and company policies
Lead and motivate the on-site construction team, providing guidance, training and performance management
Maintain detailed project records and provide regular progress updates to senior management
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager in the construction industry, ideally within the fire protection system sector
Strong technical knowledge of fire safety systems and building regulations
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
Relevant tertiary qualification in construction, engineering or a related field
