B2B BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – INDUSTRIAL RAW MATERIAL (LOCAL SALT)
Are you a strong B2B sales leader with proven experience selling industrial raw materials to factories and Food & Beverage manufacturers?
Do you enjoy meeting new people, traveling for business development, and building long-term partnerships across multiple organizational levels?
We are seeking a driven, target-oriented, and field-active B2B Business Development professional to expand and strengthen our industrial salt market across manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and drive sales of industrial salt to factories and manufacturers requiring salt as a core raw material.
Identify, prospect, and acquire new industrial accounts across manufacturing sectors.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers at all organizational levels (Purchasing, QA, Production, Finance, Management, Owners).
Conduct regular field visits across Jabodetabek and other assigned regions.
Prepare quotations, lead negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure profitable closing.
Supervise and coordinate sales activities to ensure target achievement.
Collaborate closely with Operations and Logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Monitor sales performance, pipeline progress, and submit structured weekly/monthly reports.
Analyze market trends, competitor movements, pricing strategies, and customer demand patterns.
Represent the company professionally in meetings, networking events, and client discussions.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of proven experience in B2B Business Development, preferably in industrial raw materials or the Food Industry/FMCG ingredients.
Experience selling to manufacturing companies, especially food and beverage factories.
Strong experience engaging and negotiating with multi-level stakeholders (operational to top management).
Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipeline and consistently achieve targets.
Strong leadership potential and supervisory mindset.
Target-driven, persistent, resilient, and disciplined.
Friendly, confident, and enjoy meeting new people and traveling for business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Strong understanding of the complete B2B sales cycle (prospecting – presentation – negotiation – closing – after-sales service).
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid SIM A and comfortable driving for regular customer visits.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from any major.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for reporting, analysis, and target tracking.
