Responsibilities

  • Lead and negotiate prime contracts, task and delivery orders, modifications, teaming agreements, and NDAs with a focus on protecting company interests while enabling program success.
  • Provide oversight and evaluation of major proposals, monitor contract terms and conditions, and identify risks with associated mitigations in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Act as the market's advocate and voice within the Contracts organization, ensuring responsiveness, alignment, and consistent execution across the portfolio.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers — including government contracting officers, prime contractors, and subcontractors — serving as a reliable point of contact and problem-solver.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Control, Accounting, and Program leadership to monitor contract performance and ensure conformance to requirements and deliverable obligations.
  • Maintain contract systems, files, and records ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, company policy, and government requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of all contract types and deep expertise in FAR/DFARS; experience with GSA, OASIS, Alliant, and GovCon commercial vehicles preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex contract issues into clear, actionable guidance for non-contracts audiences.
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to manage a dynamic portfolio with minimal supervision.
  • Previous team lead or mentorship experience a plus.
  • Active Secret clearance preferred.
